I had the cold noodles and kimchee pancake. Great option on a hot summer day. My first time dining here. Nice and friendly service. Korean beers and shoju served. A lot of windows in the front. It can be bright just before sunset. Flavors and presentation was good.

I was craving a heart soup for breakfast, and that's exactly what I found at Mr. Tang. Located in Aurora, aka the Korea town of Denver, you'll find so many good Korean restaurants. But Mr. Tang specializes in beef soups and braised beef dishes. I opted for the kkori gomtang which is oxtail soup. Served with a soy dipping sauce with spicy mustard, cabbage, kimchi and radish kimchi. Such a delicious flavor and the meat was nice and tender. It's a heart warming dish and certainly worth the price tag. If you're craving pure comfort, check it out!

Officially my new favorite place to get seolleong tang. Came here on a Saturday at 1:45 pm ish and it wasn't super busy but still had a decent amount of customers. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the front desk lady who gave me the option to choose my own seats (that's always nice). The menu was already laid out nicely on the table so you get right to it. There was Korean music playing that was at just the right volume. I love love loveee seolleongtang so of course I naturally chose that as my dish. It's also the reason why I decided to come to Mr. Tang in the first place so I gotta follow through. Water is self served with small paper cups already provided at the table. Wooden chopsticks, metal spoons, salt, pepper, and chopped green onion is also provided at the table for you to adjust your soup to your liking. The price for the dish was $15.95 (the usual pricing) so imagine my surprise when the bowl they brought out was literally bigger than the size of my hand. Granted my hands are small but this was literally the biggest bowl of seolleongtang I've ever seen or eaten. I devoured it but alas I couldn't finish all the meat. They're super generous with their meat. You usually see maybe like 8 thin slices but this bowl probably had like 20+ decently sized meat slices. I liked the fact that there wasn't an abundance of banchan (Korean side dishes). They had a plate of various pickled vegetables that you cut up yourself with the scissors they provide you. And also a small dish of pickled jalapeños. I didn't try it with my food but I'm sure it tastes good with it. Once you're done eating, you pay at the front or have the check brought over to you. The total with tax and tip waOverall great first experience here and am definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

Good regular Korean restaurant atmosphere. Workers are in average service, and the location is in a decent spot. Given 3 stars to service and ambiance but the foods. Very authentic K taste as if I was in the street of local in Seoul. The broth is the key for all pots and noodles dish here. They are all A+. Sure I'll be back.

Galbi jjim 갈비찜 sweet slow cooked tender beef with veggies and rice cake is pretty good (also pretty pricey but a LOT of food enough for at least 3 adults)

Coming back a second time! The beef rib pot was always delicious and fulfilling. Tender meat served in a hot stone pot mixed with potato and peppers, and some soft but cheery rice cakes. Extremely flavorful- its savory and sweet. I tried the non-spicy version the first time and spicy one the second - both were great so just go for your preference/group preferences. There's also an option to have melted cheese on top My second favorite from this place was the #9 beef soup with noodles. It has a strong umami flavor and I drank every last sip of the soup Other dishes we ordered were so so: the chive pancake was not flavorful and of too much flour (just felt like eating a dough); ox tail soup was too little in portion and barely fulfilling This might be the only place that offers the signature galbi Jjim pot in Denver but I still hope that the price of this single item was lower than it is

Mr. Tang is now a go to place when craving something warm and comforting Korean food! The food is consistently good! However, the workers will ask for higher tips and say things like "people tip at least 18% now, you should tip that much." Other than that, the price is acceptable considering the portion size and bon chon that they give for free. I'll definitely be going back probably more in the winter when it gets colder!

Yay! An authentic Sulleongtang spot ~ I'm always looking for good Korean food and this one met my LA standards. 1. Sulleongtang - delicious. You self season with salt and green onion (table condiments in black bowls). Would be perfect for a cold day. 2. Galbi tang and go-ri tang (tail) - broth was light/clean, which I liked, it can be fatty/greasy at other restaurants. 3. Kimchi jeon- different texture than I was expecting, this was a little spongy/airy but taste was still fine. I personally like mine a little crispy on outside and chewy on inside.

It's a nice little family restaurant opened in the corner of the plaza. The owners speak Korean. It's known for the galbi jjim and the variety of soups present. First off, the galbi jjim is delicious. It was tender and an eruption of flavors. The cheese is a nice add on and it is melted by using a torch. It is a pricey but it's made to be shared by four people. Personally, it wasn't spicy for me but we did ask to make it milder. The seolleongtang was really delicious as well. It's a clean broth and you can add salt and pepper and scallions to taste. It's a nice broth to share between two if you're also ordering the galbi jjim. Otherwise, it's a wonderful solo meal. I like to add rice with it. The kimchi pancake is different from other ones I've had. It was probably made with more of the kimchi juice. I didn't really notice any kimchi pieces.
